2.1 The Committee received evidence from representatives of the Welsh Local Government Association.

2.2. Councillor Huw David agreed to provide the Committee with information on work being undertaken to establish the exact costs for each provider across Wales so that the £40 million designated funding from the Welsh Government would be allocated on actuals rather than estimates.

2.3. Councillor Huw David agreed to provide the Committee with the current figures of staff absences within the social care sector.
